Malu'ohai Residents' Association Mission Statement

To perpetuate our cultural heritage by enhancing the education, safety, and well-being of our ohana with ALOHA

A kahai: kindness, to be expressed with charity (compassion)
L okahi: unity, to be expressed with harmony (peaceful)
O lu'olu: pleasant, to be expressed with agreement (consensus)
H a'aha'a: humility, to be expressed with grace (goodness)
A honui: patience to be expressed boundlessly (diligence)
Malu'ohai was developed by the State of Hawaii, Department of Hawaiian Homelands on a 37.8 acre parcel located in Village 6 of The Villages of Kapolei.  The project consist of 226 lots consisting of turnkey homes, a rent-to-own development and a mutual self-help project.  Residents first moved into phase one of the project in 2001.  Malu'ohai is located directly across (north) Kapolei High School.
